Spinners
A spinner is a weighted wheel, the randomizer to use when outcomes shouldn't be equally likely. Where a die gives every face the same chance, a spinner lets you make "common" results common and "rare" results rare.
Spinning
Select the spinner and press R, or double-click it. The wheel spins and the winning section is announced and logged for the whole table.
Configuring the Wheel
Right-click and choose Configure Spinner. You can define up to 12 sections (minimum 2), and each section has:
- a label (what the section means),
- a color,
- a weight, its share of the odds, and
- an optional face image.
Tip
Weights are just ratios. A section with weight 3 is three times as likely as one with weight 1, and the app works out the percentages for you. So you can think in plain terms like 3:2:1 without making the numbers add up to anything in particular.
